THE COURSE
Swim: The race begins with the swim in the Mayfair/ St. Clair community pool. Swimmers will exit the pool and head to the transition area located at the tennis court gazebo near the St. Clair tennis parking lot. Event volunteers will assist and direct the athletes to put on their running shoes and bike helmets.
Bike:After dressing for the bike event, the athletes will walk up the steps to the St. Clair tennis parking lot to access their bikes and begin the bike course. Riders will turn right out of the parking lot down Abbottswell Drive to the cul-de-sac and come back, past the parking lot, to Cadbury Court. At this point, the riders will return to the parking lot to end the bike course. Athletes in the 10-12 age group will be required to repeat a 2nd lap before they complete the bike course. Volunteers on the course will help direct the riders and traffic. Once the riders have returned their bikes to the St. Clair tennis parking area, they will head down the stairs and back to the front of the pool area will they will access the run portion of the event.
Run:Runners will return to the swimming pool parking lot and exit to the right onto the main road where they will run to Fox Grape Lane. They will turn left to run the length of Fox Grape lane and return to the pool parking lot to finish the race.

WHAT TO EXPECT
After checking in on race day, volunteers will help participants setup their cycling and running gear in the transition areas. There will be water stations at the transition stations. All courses will be highly visible with markings plus we will have volunteers along the courses to direct participants and monitor traffic.
Each participant will be required to wear his/her swimsuit and bring the following items: towel, bike, helmet, running shoes, and socks.
Helmets are mandatory. No helmet, no race. Sorry!
First, second, and third place awards will be given to boy and girl winners in each age group. There will be a post-race brunch and party for all participants.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed throughout the event to help with registration and check-in, directing participants on and off the course, and post race activities. We are asking one parent per family to volunteer the day of the race. If you cannot volunteer your time, you can either provide food items or donate an additional $5.00 to help offset event costs.
PARKING
Parking is not available. Please do not drive to the race if you live in the community. Furthermore, we ask that you have your guests use your drive way if possible. If you must drive to the race, please park your car on road outside of the race course areas. All neighborhood parking lots are needed for this race.
