Mayfair/St. Clair Neighborhood Watch:
In light of recent thefts and acts of vandalism, the neighborhood has formed a Neighborhood Watch program to determine ways to deter this activity, and maintain the property value of our homes. Our neighborhood watch coordinator is
Humberto Izquierdo. In the short term, please review this list of precautions you can take to prevent thefts:
- If possible, park your car inside your garage.
- If parking outside, remove all valuables from the car.
- Never leave your garage door open if you are not outside in front.
- Consider leaving some front lights on at night.
- Consider getting motion detection lights - especially useful in the back yard.
- Report any street lights not working.
- If on vacation or not home for a day, arrange pick up of newspaper and/or mail.
- Consider purchasing a security system.
- If valuable items inside the house are easily seen through the window, close the blinds at night.
- If you see illegal loitering or any suspicious activity, report it to the police.
If you are interested in receiving copies of monthly North Fulton Crime Reports for our zip code, please contact Humberto.
